The Supreme Court dismissed a plea by the manufacturers of ‘Dil Afza’, whose sale was restrained by the Delhi High Court after Hamdard Foundation, the makers of ‘Rooh Afza’, filed a trademark infringement suit. “Rooh Afza has a well-established reputation…You were selling some kind of medicine and suddenly you start drinks with similar-sounding names…We’ll not interfere,” the bench said.
